Jimmy Quach is an associate with HVS's Vancouver office, where he has worked on consulting, feasibility, and appraisal assignments across western Canada. His experience is diverse and spans from valuation assignments in resort markets, secondary and tertiary resource markets; to complex mixed-use projects in urban centres and strata hotels. Prior to joining HVS, Jimmy held several operational roles working in hotels within the front office and food and beverage departments, and a corporate internship with Starwood's revenue management team in Toronto. Jimmy earned a B.Com in hospitality and tourism management from Ryerson University, where he was happily involved with the hospitality case competition team and varsity badminton team. In 2016, Jimmy was selected to represent Ryerson University at the 7th edition of the Young Hotelier's Summit in Lausanne, Switzerland. Currently, Jimmy is a candidate member of the Appraisal Institute of Canada (AIC) and hopes to achieve his AACI designation.
In his free time, Jimmy considers himself a 'foodie' but paradoxically enjoys an active and healthy lifestyle. When he is not out enjoying a new restaurant, he may be found hiking, snowboarding, or playing badminton. Lastly, Jimmy enjoys traveling and aspires to travel the globe; the next destinations on his list are Japan and New Zealand.
