Bomie gained hands-on hospitality experience at hotels in both the U.S. and Asia. She formerly worked in various front- and back-of-the-house roles at the Seoul Millennium Hilton in South Korea, as well as at the DoubleTree by Hilton Pudong and the Jianguo Hotel while studying abroad in Shanghai. Bomie earned a BS in Hotel Administration from the School of Hotel Administration at Cornell University.
Fluent in both English and her native Korean, Bomie also writes and speaks Mandarin. She plays the piano, clarinet, tenor saxophone, and Korean drums, and enjoys urban hip hop, jazz, and electronic dance music. Bomie has a deep appreciation of contemporary art, especially the work of Mark Rothko.
