McKenna Luke, a Director with HVS, resides in the southeast region of New Mexico between Albuquerque and El Paso. Having lived and worked in Colorado, Texas, Missouri, Oklahoma, and New Mexico, McKenna oversees the firm’s hotel appraisal and consulting assignments in this part of the country and works with other HVS hotel experts on projects nationwide. She holds a certified general appraisal license and is a primary client manager for the San Francisco office, providing essential oversight and management for our West Coast practice. She strives to cultivate fruitful communications with clients and representatives in the field, providing information crucial to a hotel appraisal or feasibility study and delivering a comprehensive final analysis of a hotel’s value and solid, useful conclusions about the property.
McKenna Luke’s background in hospitality spans from hotel operations to advisory roles related to full-service hotel acquisitions and new developments. Her expertise includes small independent motels, extensive resorts, full-service metropolitan hotels, and historic conversions. She has authored articles about the dynamics of the Oklahoma City hotel market, insights from regional hotel conferences, and the health and wellness trend within the U.S. hotel industry. McKenna graduated summa cum laude from the University of Denver, from which she later earned an MBA.
Growing up in Colorado, McKenna has a love of the outdoors; she runs, hikes, and skis as often as she can. Away from work, McKenna and her husband share quality time with their Blue Lacy dogs, Mozzie and Theo.
