Managing Director and Senior Partner Adam Lair oversees the firm's Southwest United States practice, including offices in San Francisco, Los Angeles, San Diego, Las Vegas, and Phoenix. Currently based in San Francisco, Adam has been involved with appraisals and consulting for hotel and commercial real estate since 2002. In that time, he has worked on hundreds of assignments, including existing and proposed properties throughout the United States. Adam manages some of the firm's most complex consulting and valuation engagements, and his formidable expertise is fortified by each new assignment he undertakes.
Adam excels at complex financial analyses for commercial real estate assets. In addition to studies and valuations on all types of hotels, he has completed numerous assignments involving full-service and resort hotels throughout coastal California and Hawaii. He has also completed an advanced set of courses in the analysis and valuation of real estate through the Appraisal Institute. Adam holds the designation of MAI as a Designated Member of the Appraisal Institute and is a state-certified general appraiser.
Adam played for Louisiana State University’s Tigers as a quarterback during the 2001 and 2002 college football seasons; the team won the SEC Championship and the Sugar Bowl, and Adam was named an Academic All-SEC. Adam loves to travel and has lived in cities around the world, including Paris, Charleston, and Honolulu.
